Feel Safe
Creating a caring environment where children learn respect, feel protected and can grow free from bullying and harm.
A child’s future should never be decided by the circumstances they are born into. In Goa, we work alongside children and families to make education, nourishment, safety and the simple joy of childhood more accessible.

Behind every child is a family doing its best, often in circumstances most of us may never see. Helping Hands Social Trust stands alongside disadvantaged families in Goa, including migrant families whose parents work as daily labourers or collect recyclable materials to make a living. We meet people with respect, not judgement—and work with families, not just for them.
We believe education is the beginning—not the whole story. Children also need good nutrition, health and hygiene support, encouragement, creativity, play and a safe place where they are valued.
A notebook, a nourishing meal, patient guidance or a safe place to play may seem like a small thing. Together, these everyday acts of care help children feel secure, enjoy learning and build confidence in their own future.

Childhood should hold laughter, discovery and happy memories. Alongside everyday games, sports, art and dance, the trust can explore supervised swimming outings, parties, celebrations, holiday activities and special day trips when arranged and available. Every activity should be safe, inclusive and centred on the children.
For a family facing hardship, something as basic as a birth certificate, school uniform or set of books can become a barrier. We walk alongside parents to help navigate those practical obstacles—because every child deserves the opportunity to learn, participate and belong.
You do not have to be nearby, wealthy or part of an organisation to make a difference. Wherever you are, there may be a way to stand with a child and a family in Goa.

Your generosity can help provide the essentials that make childhood and learning possible: school materials, extra tuition, nutritious support, health and hygiene care, and a safe place to learn and play. A donation of any size can join with the kindness of others to keep this work moving forward.
We welcome thoughtful questions. Please contact the trust before donating if you would like to understand current needs, arrange a visit, discuss a contribution in kind, or ask about receipts and any applicable tax information. We encourage every donor to give with confidence and clarity.
